Disney World/ Universal Studios over Thanksgiving Break

We enjoyed a trip to Disney with the Howell side.  It was our first trip to Disney they were weren't focused on the characters.  It was all about the rides.  Wyatt was a trooper and went on most rides, although he didn't love them.  The big kids loved Universal and the all their big rides.

 

Pumpkin Patch

We took advantage of the kids having a day off and met Ma, Matt and the boys at the Johnson Farms Pumpkin Patch.  The big two aren't always thrilled with activities like this, but  I did see some smiles throughout the day and they do enjoying their little cousins.  

Drew is 16!!!!

Dear Drew,

 Happy 16th Birthday!  It is unbelievable to dad and I that you are 16 already.  You have been waiting for the freedom that 16 brings.  We celebrated your birthday with take out from Jalapeños the night before your birthday.  On your birthday you had school, soccer practice, a cross country team dinner, and then you picked up Elsie and met us at Andy's for birthday ice cream.  We also got some Crumbl cookie for later that night.  You got some new soccer cleats, new hoodies, a KSU pullover jacket, and a fish tank for your birthday.  Anna wanted to get you some fish for your birthday after you asked for a pond in our backyard over and over all summer.  Pet fish seemed a little more doable.  We did go pick up your two fish a few days after your birthday and you named them Harry and Lloyd...sadly Lloyd died a few days later.  We have plans to add another fish soon and maybe a snail. 

The weekend after your birthday you and Elsie had a chance to drive around on your own.  You guys went to a Halloween Store, Scheels, and Freddy's for dinner.  It is so fun seeing you get to have more freedom.
