Happy Birthday Wyatt

Dear Wyatt,

You are 4 today!  And you have been so very excited for this day to get here.  You have really started understanding what birthdays are all about.  You were woken up by everyone today and we had you open a couple presents before daddy had to go to work and the big kids had to go to school.
last night as a 3 year old

You got to celebrate your birthday at school yesterday and you picked to take Twizzlers to school for your friends.
so proud to be 4!

You had a great day celebrating your birthday.  You had speech first thing in the morning and took little treats for your friends at speech.  Your speech teacher, Ms. Kati and your friends sang happy birthday to you.  Then you had gymnastics and they sung happy birthday to you there and you got special stamps.  Then we headed to Sams to pick up your Batman birthday cake.  Then you  enjoyed playing with your toys until we picked Drew and Anna up from school.

We then had a family birthday party.  We had pizza, Batman cake, and ice cream.  You were so cute and a bit shy when everyone was singing to you.  After opening each present you said thank you and ran to hug each person.  You absolutely loved having your own birthday party.  The last two years you had a joint family party with Drew.  This year we let you have your own.  You loved playing with all your cousins.

This year you asked for every toy you saw between Christmas and your birthday.  You need up getting a Vivofit watch, marble run, pirate ship, alphabots, number bots, cap gun, your own iPad, laser guns, nerf gun, abc game, musical orchestra, and more.

This past month you've been super excited about your birthday.  It has been fun watching the excitement.  You continue to make us laugh.  You say all kinds of funny things.  You want to be so big, but then there are days you want your crib back and you want to be a baby again.  You can be the sweetest little guy one moment and then an ornery little guy next.  You have wanted to be as big as Drew and Anna for a while and right before bed tonight you told me you were upset because you thought on your birthday you'd be as big as Drew and Anna.  I tired to explain to you that you grow a little every day.

Daddy and I and your big siblings love you so very much.

Anna 8.5!

Dear Anna,

Happy half birthday Anna!  Only a year and a half until you are double digits.  You have had a great month.  School is keeping you busy.  You are enjoying being in Mrs. Brown's class and you are becoming good friends with Leah & Abby this year, but also find Katelyn and Charlotte at lunch and recess and you also play with Taylor quite a bit.

You seem to be doing well with all the adjustments to a new school year.  You are good about getting yourself organized and getting out homework if you have it.  It is fun seeing you grow and mature.  Your handwriting has come so far and you really want your work to look nice, so different from what you used to be like!  You don't always want to get up in the mornings for school, but without fail you are up plenty early on the weekends.  It is interesting how grouchy you can be during the weekday mornings.

We are in the midst of your soccer and volleyball seasons.  You've had a few games.  You enjoy both of the sports a lot.  We are excited to watching you have fun with your friends and get better and better each game.

Dad and I love you so much!

Love,
Mom and Dad

Drew 10 years 11 months

Dear Drew,

One more month to be 10.  Truly, we are not sure how that happened.  It really feels like you just turned 10 and I'm still trying to get used to that.  Time flies when we are having fun!

You have been a busy guy this past month.  School is going and you are loving 5th grade.  You have a great class and an awesome teacher.  You really enjoying having a guy teacher this year.  You have not had any homework so far this year, which has been really nice.  Hoping next year isn't a shock to your system.  Soccer keeps you busy Monday and Wednesday afternoons and all weekend long.  You are loving your chance to play for 3 teams.  Dad and I love watching you play!

Since school has started we've put iPads and the PS4 during the week.  It has been an adjustment for you, but you have stopped asking to play unit the weekend comes.  You are really enjoying playing you sport PS4 games.  You still like Fortnite, but you aren't playing that nearly as often.  Since video games are so fun for boys your age, we decided to have a gaming truck come for your birthday so you can play video games with all your friends at one time.  You are so excited and I keep hearing that your friends are super excited too!

In your free time you are playing football around the house.  You and Dad are thrilled football season has started.  You are also doing your fantasy football league again and it is a favorite thing for you to do for sure.

We love you so much buddy can't believe this is our last month with you being 10.

Love,
Mom and Dad
