Disneyland for Pa's 70th Birthday

So about a month or so ago, Pa and Toots asked us if we could go to Disneyland to help Pa celebrate his 70th birthday!  The kids thought it was a great idea!  So we left Thursday evening, and spent Friday at California Adventure Land and headed to Disneyland on Saturday.  We did as much as we could with the time we had.  It was a lot of fun.  We also got to spend a shot time on the beach and eat some delicious food.  This trip was fun for the kids, Drew continued to love the thrill of a roller coaster and Anna got brave on us all of a sudden!  She wasn't as into the characters as she was two years ago in Disney World (that made us a bit sad), and Wyatt was all about the characters this time.  So much fun!

Anna was so brave and rode most rides, unless the ride was known to make your tummy feel funny, she doesn't like the stomach drops

so excited!
Pa loved the carousel

riding on the trolley, we waited a long time to catch the troller and this face made it worth it!
these two were not near as excited about the trolley as Wy was....

Pumpkin Patch

We made our way to Johnson Farms this past weekend and we were so excited the Dawsons could join us again this year.  It was a very beautiful fall day, a bit chilly and very sunny!  The only bummer was the pumpkin patch was off limits due to all the rain they received the night before.  Good thing I already picked out big pumpkins at the store for the kids (and I must say way cheaper than buying them at the pumpkin patch) so the kids all picked a little pumpkin out of a bin of pre-picked pumpkins. It all worked out, especially since they still gave hay rides (Wyatt's favorite part) to the fields, we just weren't allowed off the trailer.
