Dear Wyatt,
Happy monthly birthday Wyatt! How can you be so close to 4 already? Your third year is flying right on by. You have been keeping us busy with all the energy you seem to have. You are always ready to go play. School is coming to an end next week and so does speech. Your schedule is about to open up, how are we going to keep you busy??? Good thing Drew and Anna will be home soon. You love your bother and sister, but you don't make things easy. You are always bugging them or getting mad if they get in your way. So let's hope this summer goes well!
Your speech is improving and we will be working hard all summer to keep up on the sounds you've worked on so far. We don't want to see you slip this summer. Hoping you don't fight the practice this summer.
You are loving gymnastics and swimming now. We had to change swim teachers, since Ms. Natalie had to change her schedule. So now you have Ms. Angie, which was rough the first week. You cried the first week, but have done ok since. We plan to keep up with swimming lesson throughout the summer. You are doing great with the bubble when you swim on your own after class. I have a feeling this summer is going to be super fun at the pool.
Naps are starting to lessen around here. You won't stay in bed during nap time on the days you aren't very tired, so now I try to have you nap about every other day or some times you skip nap two days in a row. I'm excited that naps are lessening so we can be on the go more this summer. Maybe spend a whole day at the pool. But on the days we are hanging around the house, we'll try naps. Because we all appreciate a little break from our silly busy boy!
A couple funny sayings:
If I ask you to do something you often say, "on it" you get that from Paw Patrol
I have headaches (you meant hiccups)
You had your cowboy had and sunglasses on the other day when were headed into Deanna Rose and you said, "I'm glad I have my hat and glasses, armour on."
You are loving super heroes and are often playing with all your figurines. You also love your paw patrol toys too. Always staying busy!
We love you sweet silly boy, Wyatt!
Love,
Mom and Dad

Anna Mae 8 years 2 months
Dear Nans,
Here we are another month in your 8th year. You have had a great month. You are enjoying all the end of the school year events. You loved field day yesterday and I loved getting to see you interact with your pals. I also loved coming on your field trip to Lanesfield School. I love how I still got plenty of hugs from you that day. I'll enjoy you wanting me there for as long as I can!
Soccer and volleyball are in full swing and you've been a busy girl. You have loved volleyball so much and you are starting to get some of your serves over the net. You take it upon yourself to go outside and practice. You do a great job bumping the ball back over the net and you are quick to go to the ball. Daddy and I love watching you play. Soccer is going well, your team is quite amazing for being 7 and 8 year olds. You do a great job in defense and your footwork is quite awesome and you are really starting to use it in the games more and more.
Gymnastics is going well too. You are always working on new skills and you love it. You also love that your buddy, Elyse is in your class. You enjoy spending time with her.
You and dad had a special date last weekend. You got to go to the Royals game and sit in the crown seats. You and dad had a great time eating all the delicious food and springing time together. You were so excited about being on tv.
We are looking forward to you ending your second grade year soon (although we aren't ready for you to move to third grade already, you are getting way too old) and we can't wait to start summer with you.
We love you Nans!

Drew 10 years 7 months
Dear Drew,
Happy monthly birthday again. These months are flying by! This past month you've been working hard in school and doing great. You are a very smart boy and we are you are so blessed that school comes so easily to you. We are so proud of your hard work!
You are thick into your baseball season. You hitting has improved a ton this past month which really helps with your confidence. You are enjoying baseball so much more now that your hitting is coming along. We are still doing weekly hitting lessons with Coach Seth. He's been very helpful and you enjoy your lesson.
Your regular league play has wrapped up for soccer and your team got first in the 4th division. So excited for you and your team. You have had a great season. You have one more tournament until the season is over. Dad and I love watching you play. You are one awesome defender.
You are growing into such a tween these days. You talk with your friends by text on your iPad. You also FaceTime them quite a bit when you want to play Fornite (a very popular video game right now). It is fun seeing you be so social, but also gives us a glimpse into the future of what is will be like to have a big kid. Not sure we are ready for all that.
You and Anna get on each other's nerves constantly, but you do find common ground in soccer. You love playing each other in our entry hall. Wyatt looks up to you so much and loves dressing like you these days. But the two of you often get into little tiffs. Wyatt is hard to deal with so you get frustrated and of course you love pushing his buttons (which is very easy to do). So let's just hope we find some common ground before this summer get here!
Looking forward to you finishing up school this next month and getting more time with my boy!

Mexico! A little get away for mom and dad!
We got to go on a trip of a lifetime with Aaron and Christie from April 21 to the 28. . It was a lovely week week away from the kids. We all got to relax and see the most beautiful scenery. We had so many laughs and can't wait to plan our next trip.
