Wyatt 3 years 7 months

Dear Wyatt,

Another month has come and gone.  Life is busy for you, you love going to school twice a week and you also love going to speech twice a week.  We are practicing your speech as much as we can so you keep making progress.  Some days you easily comply and do your speech homework and other days it takes some coaxing.  You are making some good progress!

Gymnastics and swimming are going much better.  You are doing a nice job in gymnastics this session since you are the only boy in your class.  Last session you had another boy in your class and the two you fed off each other and if one was misbehaving the other one would follow.  You really enjoy swimming lessons now and you love free time after lessons.  You get to swim all over the pool in your bubble.  You love playing with all the other kids, you don't know a stranger!

You continue to keep us on our toes around here.  Things are never easy with you, but you do keep us laughing.  You say the funniest things and are so stinking cute.  So typically the goodness outweighs the bad, although we all get frustrated with you.  Drew and Anna love you to pieces but you are a stinker to them quite a bit of the time.  So we are working through it and hoping as you get older things get better.

A couple funny sayings ( I really need to write them down or I forget what you've said)

"I slept for hours."
"I thanked my green light for turning green."  You are doing a great job waiting to get up in the mornings until your clock turns green.

Anna 8 years 1 month

Dear Anna,

Another month has come and gone.  You are loving life and staying very busy.  You are doing great in second grade.  You love school, mainly because you get to spend time with your friends.  You had an absolutely perfect grade card last month.  School seems to come pretty easy to you, so you are a very blessed girl.

Gymnastics is still going great and you are always learning new skills.  You love going!  Volleyball is now in full swing and I think you found another sport your really enjoy.  You have done great in games and are always going for the ball, love seeing your confidence.  Soccer is also still going strong.  You are enjoying playing defender.

At home you love doing crafts, playing outside when it is nice, and playing school down in the basement.  You love when Wyatt will be your student. You and Drew struggle to get along, but one thing you enjoy doing together is playing soccer in our entry hall.

We look forward to this next month and seeing what you have in store for us.

Drew is 10 and a half!

Dear Drew,

Happy half birthday buddy!  Dad and I are still not used to you being double digits and the first half of that year is done.  Time is flying.  You are keeping us very busy these days.  You are a very thoughtful and sweet boy.  You are very sensitive and can be very quiet, just taking things in.  You are a very loving boy and are extremely loyal.  We really couldn't ask for a better kid.


These days if you aren't on a soccer field, baseball field, or on the driveway playing shooting hoops,  you are playing PS4.  The big exciting game you and your friends love is Fortnite.  Dad and you spend a lot of time playing and discussing.  We are working to find a good balance with screen time and active time.


We love you sweet 10.5 year old!  Looking forward to all the fun this second half of ten brings!

Easter

This year we went to church to celebrate Easter the day before Easter.  On Easter morning we did our egg hunt and then headed over to Ma & Pa's to see everyone.  It was fun having the Taylors in town and getting to spend some time with them.  The crazy thing about Easter was it snowed quite a bit.  Not what we were hoping for!
