One last party...

We celebrated Drew and Peter's birthdays together with the Howell side....

Drew's 11th Birthday Party

Drew had a great time celebrating his birthday with his friend.  We had a mobile gaming truck come to our house and the boys had a blast.  It was a cold night, but warm enough to keep the party outside.  The boys ate some pizza, played some basketball, football, and finished the night with some cake.  They spent 2 hours of of the party in the truck or playing the games outside the night.

Anna 8 years 7 months

Dear Anna,

You are doing great.  You love school, although there are some days you’d rather stay home and play.  Third grade is going very well for you.  School is continually to come easy for you.  I’m so impressed with how well you are keeping yourself organized, you typically tell me when you have homework.  You usually get it out right away after school and get it done.  You are becoming very responsible.  

This past month you and I went to visit the Taylors in Colorado for a long weekend.  We got to meet baby Rose.  You absolutely loved being around her and you especially liked all your time with Celia.  You two are two peas in a pod.  You two played outside non-stop and enjoyed the trampoline, you also made some slime.  

When we got back from our trip we discovered you had lice and I had some too.  It was going around big time at school.  So that has not been fun at our house.  constant head checks and we are hoping that is behind us.  Volleyball is wrapping up later this month and you have really enjoyed it.  Soccer is going strong, you played in a soccer tournament and got 2^nd place it came down to a penalty shoot out.  So exciting and such a bummer to lose in that.  

We are looking forward to seeing what next month brings.

Happy 11th Birthday Drew!

Dear Drew,

Happy birthday to our first baby!  It is crazy how fast time has flown since you were born.  We are so proud of the young man you are becoming.  You are such a kind and sweet boy.  You had a great birthday.  I got to visit you at school and bring you some Chic Fil A for lunch and then we had a party for you in the evening with Ma, Pa, Matt, and the boys.

This past month you've been just going to school and playing soccer.  You are busy!  You love going to all your soccer games.  When you are free you are running around the house with a football or playing video games when dad and I let you.  You have taken a liking to Harry Potter lately.  You've listened to both the first and second book and got some other books for your birthday.  It has been hard to get you to go to sleep at night because you love reading the books so much!
